Ella is a driven and personable Design Intern who brings energy, active enthusiasm, and a genuine care for community to every project. She was drawn to landscape architecture by the opportunity to revitalize communities and create spaces that outlast a single generation, having grown up watching an urban area in Indy come back to life through thoughtful design. She values the creative problem-solving that comes with turning a disused space into a true social hub. Ella just finished her third year at Purdue University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture with minors in Horticulture and Landscape Management, and she’s ready to jump into this 12-month portion of her program. Her day-to-day work involves research, collaboration, and schematic design. Outside of the office, you can find her spending time with family, lifting, or dreaming about the vegetable garden she hopes to grow in her future urban homestead!
